This is a testament to the preparedness and cooperation of our students, staff, and faculty. Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a safe learning environment.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our families, faculty, and staff for your quick adjustment and support during this morning’s unexpected rerouting of our drop-off procedures.
Due to a medical emergency involving a faculty member in our campus clinic, our team immediately activated our safety protocols. Faculty and staff swiftly redirected drop-off traffic to ensure a safer route, allowing emergency medical services to arrive and reach our patient in record time.
As part of our response, we did place the campus on a temporary hold to ensure the safety and privacy of everyone involved. We appreciate your cooperation, understanding, and commitment to following our safety protocols—these are absolutely essential in moments like this. Although the situation may have felt prolonged, it was fully resolved in under 30 minutes.
We also want to take this time to reiterate that the bottom parking lot is reserved for faculty and staff only. Situations like today’s emergency highlight the importance of following our updated safety protocols. Not following these procedures can extend emergency response times, compromise privacy, and potentially create unsafe conditions for everyone on campus.
Thank you again for your continued support and understanding.
To support safe and efficient operations around our campus, we ask that all visitors use the top parking lot located at the front of the building when coming to the school during the day.
Please note that the bottom parking lot is now reserved for faculty and staff only. Visitors should not park in the bottom lot during arrival or dismissal. If you need to park during those times, please use the top lot instead.
Your cooperation helps us reduce congestion and ensures a safer experience for our students, families, and staff.
Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school community safe.

We SYNERGIZED our socks off and reached our campus-wide attendance goal—woohoo! That means it’s time to celebrate in style (and comfort) because...
🎈 THIS FRIDAY is PAJAMA DAY! 🎈
Let your child roll out of bed and straight into school—fashionably cozy, of course. But before we all start dreaming of flannel and fuzzy slippers, here are a few important reminders:
🛏️ Pajamas must be school-appropriate (no spaghetti straps and must reach knees).
👟 Slippers are allowed but proper shoes are required for PE and recess
We’re so proud of our students and Franmilies for showing up, showing out, and showing us that teamwork really does make the dream work. Let’s keep the momentum going— we are already on the path to reaching our 2nd attendance goal :)

Students from Franz Leadership Academy took a short walk to the Live Oak Fire Department to learn all about fire safety!
During their visit, students got a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be a firefighter, trying on bunker gear, practicing “stop, drop, and roll,” exploring the fire engine, spraying water with a real hose line, and even checking out the tools firefighters use every day.
Every grade level had the chance to learn, interact, and ask questions making Fire Prevention Week both fun and educational!

Check out the flyer from our Veteran's Memorial Cheer!

We love our custodians - please help us spoil them by donating the requested items. They work so hard to keep FLA clean and neat - we want to show them how much they are appreciated.
Donation cart will be in the front office. Please have all donations here by Oct 1st.

A Voter‑Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) is an election required by state law
when a school district’s Maintenance & Operations (M&O) tax rate exceeds the
voter‑approval threshold. When approved, it provides local schools with
additional funding to support daily operations such as teacher pay, academic
programs, and student services.
Have questions about the VATRE? Dr. Fields is hosting a Virtual Community
